What’s an Oomfy?
An oomfy is an orphaned wild animal. The name comes from the sound a baby animal makes when hungry; they’ll often nudge the hand of their caretaker and call oomf, oomf, oomf.
We fully finance the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of these oomfies. Funding comes from the sale of stuffed animals, and other products, that represent the orphaned animals and their stories.
When you buy an Oomfy stuffed animal you will receive a code that allows you to follow the story of the specific orphan sponsored by your purchase. The story is available online as a blog that chronicles the rescue, rehabilitation and release of each orphan as it unfolds.
